Concealed copper wiring engineered for the next 25 years.
Wiring is the one part of your home you will never see and can never easily replace. We treat it accordingly — load-calculated circuits, ISI-marked FR copper cable, labelled distribution boards and a full insulation-resistance test report handed over at completion.
Most Surat apartments built before 2010 were wired for a very different household. A 2BHK then ran a fridge, a television, two fans and a handful of tube lights. The same flat today runs two inverter air-conditioners, a microwave, an induction hob, a washing machine, a geyser, a dishwasher and a dozen always-on chargers. The wire in the wall did not change; the load on it tripled. That mismatch is the single most common cause of the warm switchboards, browning socket faces and nuisance tripping we are called out to inspect.
Ambey Electrician approaches a wiring job the way an engineering firm would. Before a single conduit is cut we perform a connected-load calculation room by room, decide how many circuits the home genuinely needs, and size each cable to the actual current it will carry with a margin for diversity and future growth. Air-conditioners get dedicated 4 sq mm runs. The kitchen gets its own high-current circuit so an induction hob and a microwave can run together without complaint. Lighting is separated from power so a socket fault never puts a room in darkness.
We wire exclusively in FR or FRLS grade multi-strand copper from Polycab, Havells or Finolex — never aluminium, never single-strand, never the unbranded reel that shaves a few thousand rupees off a quotation and costs you a decade of service life. Conduit is rigid PVC, properly capped and sized so that a future cable pull is possible without breaking a wall. Every junction is made inside an accessible box; we do not bury joints in plaster.
The distribution board is where good wiring becomes obvious. Yours will be a proper enclosure with a main isolator, a 30 mA RCCB protecting all socket circuits, individually rated MCBs per circuit, and a printed legend telling you exactly what each switch controls. When something trips at eleven at night, you should be able to identify and restore the circuit yourself in thirty seconds.
At handover you receive a circuit schedule, insulation-resistance readings for every run, earth-loop and earth-pit resistance values, and photographs of the concealed layout taken before plastering. That last document is worth more than people expect — five years later, when a carpenter wants to drill a wall for a wardrobe, you will know precisely where the cable runs.
The difference between a job that lasts and one you will be calling about again is almost always in the details below.
Cable sizes come from a written load calculation for your actual appliances, with headroom for the ones you will buy in the next decade.
Lighting, power, kitchen and AC on independent MCBs. One fault never darkens the whole flat, and fault-finding takes minutes instead of hours.
A 30 mA residual-current device on every socket circuit disconnects in under 40 milliseconds — fast enough to prevent a fatal shock.
Test readings, a circuit schedule and pre-plaster route photographs handed over as a permanent record of your installation.
Chasing, conduiting, pulling and finishing are scheduled around your civil work and your family. We sheet furniture and clear debris daily.
Written, transferable to the next owner, and honoured without argument. Materials carry their own manufacturer warranty on top.
Every step is the same whether the job is worth ₹400 or ₹95,000.
We walk the property, list every present and planned appliance, and produce a connected-load figure and circuit plan before quoting.
You approve a point-wise drawing showing switch, socket and light positions, plus a line-item quotation with brands and cable sizes named.
Walls are chased along agreed routes, rigid conduit is laid with sweeping bends, and junction boxes are set at accessible heights.
Colour-coded copper is drawn through, the distribution board is built up with RCCB and MCBs, and every core is ferruled and labelled.
Insulation resistance, continuity, polarity and earth resistance are measured with calibrated instruments and recorded on your test sheet.
We demonstrate the DB, explain each circuit, hand over documentation and photographs, and register your warranty.
Indicative 2026 ranges. You always receive a firm, itemised price after inspection — and nothing starts until you approve it.

Prices exclude civil repair and repainting where wall chasing is involved. Materials are charged at cost with original bills handed over, and there is no emergency markup on parts at any hour.
They surveyed the flat properly before quoting — actually walked around listing every appliance and worked out a load calculation. Two other contractors just gave me a per-point rate. The finished job came with a circuit schedule and test readings, and every MCB in the board is labelled. I finally know which breaker does what.
Booked the safety audit expecting a sales pitch for rewiring. Instead they measured everything, told me the wiring was still fine, and gave me a list of three things worth doing — an RCCB, an earth pit revival and two switchboard repairs. Under ₹9,000 total. They talked me out of spending more, which I did not expect.
