A neighbourhood with two electrical personalities
Piplod is unusual among Surat's western neighbourhoods because its residential and commercial character are genuinely balanced rather than one dominating. The Dumas Road corridor carries substantial retail, hospitality and office development. Step a few hundred metres into the interior and you are in quiet residential lanes with towers, older bungalows and small societies. Our work here reflects that split almost exactly.
On the residential side, the profile is close to Vesu — relatively modern construction, concealed wiring, modular switchgear, and installations that are being asked to carry considerably more load than they were specified for. The premium towers along and behind Dumas Road were built to a decent standard, and the faults we attend are load-driven rather than decay-driven: air-conditioner circuits, kitchen loads after a modular fit-out, and the occasional monsoon earth-leakage trip.
The commercial side is a different discipline entirely.
