The terms on which we quote, carry out and warrant electrical work. Last updated 1 August 2026.
These terms govern electrical work carried out by Ambey Electrician, operating from Tulsi, M-806, Someshwara Enclave, Vesu, Surat, Gujarat 395007. They apply from the point you accept a quotation or ask us to attend, and they sit alongside any written quotation, which takes precedence where the two differ.

All figures published on this site — including the rate card, the service pages and any blog article — are indicative ranges for 2026, provided so you can budget realistically. They are not quotations and do not constitute an offer.
The price you pay is the firm figure we give you after inspecting the work, which you approve before we begin. That figure does not change afterwards unless you request additional work, which is quoted separately at the time.
Our standard diagnostic visit fee is ₹399. It is waived in full if you approve any work on the same visit. If you decide not to proceed, the ₹399 is payable and you keep the written fault report with the measurements we took.
Emergency call-outs are ₹899 between 6 AM and 9 PM, and ₹1,499 between 9 PM and 6 AM or on public holidays, each including the first hour on site. Additional time is ₹450 per hour in thirty minute blocks. Materials carry no emergency markup at any hour.
Written quotations are valid for thirty days and specify the cable sizes, brands, protective devices and point counts included. Where a quotation covers concealed work, it is given on the basis of what is reasonably visible and accessible at survey.
If opening walls, ceilings or existing boards reveals conditions that could not reasonably have been anticipated — degraded cable, structural obstruction, previously undocumented circuits, or material that is unsafe to leave in place — we will stop, explain what we have found, and issue a revised quotation for your approval before continuing.
Unless expressly stated in writing, our quotations exclude:
For work under ₹40,000, payment is due on completion. For larger projects, a staged structure applies — typically thirty per cent on material procurement, forty per cent at first-fix completion and thirty per cent on testing and handover. No payment is due before a written quotation is agreed.
The final tranche becomes payable only once you have received the test readings and documentation for the work. We accept cash, UPI, bank transfer and card.
We provide the following written warranties on our workmanship, from the date of completion:
Materials carry their own manufacturer warranties in addition. We hand over original bills so you can claim directly, and we will assist with the claim process at no charge.
We give a two-hour arrival window and message you when the electrician sets off. Where we cannot meet that window we will tell you as soon as we know, and you may reschedule at no cost.
You are responsible for providing access to the property and to the areas where work is required, including obtaining any society or landlord permission. Where a visit cannot proceed because access is unavailable and we were not told in advance, the visit fee remains payable.
We will not carry out work that would leave an installation in an unsafe condition. Specifically, we will not fit a protective device of a higher rating than the cable it protects, we will not bypass or remove residual current protection, and we will not conceal connections in a manner that prevents future inspection.
Where we identify a condition that presents an immediate danger, we will make it safe and tell you in writing. Where you decline remedial work on such a condition, we will record that in writing and may decline to energise the affected circuit.
We carry public liability insurance and accept responsibility for loss or damage caused by our negligence. Our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the work carried out, except where liability cannot be limited under Indian law.
We are not liable for consequential losses such as loss of business, loss of data, or spoilage, other than where these arise directly from our negligence.
You may cancel a booked visit at no charge with at least four hours notice. For quoted project work, cancellation after materials have been procured is subject to the cost of any non-returnable items, which we will evidence with supplier invoices.
If something is not right, call +91 90236 80510 and ask to speak to the workshop directly. We aim to attend any warranty-related complaint within two working days, and within four hours where the issue presents a safety risk.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Surat, Gujarat have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
